I was very fortunate this year. I got to see such amazing sites. The wildlife in Mexico is insane! Even around my hotel there was so many animals which I had never seen before. The landscape is luscious and green because it is a tropical country - which meant there were many thunderstorms while I was there! The architecture at my hotel was very angular (which I liked very much) so it was easy for me to find things I wanted to photograph. The photos taken in the hotel campus were mostly all taken on the same day at around 6am. I was rather jet lagged when I got to Mexico as they're 10 hours behind. So one morning I got up and photographed my surroundings.
During my stay me and my mum went on a day trip which had three stops; Chichen Itza (sacred Mayan temple), a swim in a cenote (natural underground calcium pool), and finally a visit to a traditional Mayan village (who speak Mayan instead of Spanish). *see Personal Investigation (Part 2) for images of the Mayan people*
