LAST WEEKEND I explored Margate. My long time friend, and also a keen photographer Esme, investigated her home town Margate. She has recently moved there from the south-east and I was dying to meet up with her! We hardly ever see each other, however I have featured in some of her photography work for her school projects. I thoroughly enjoy the time we spend together because we each have our own style of taking photos. She prefers when the main subject is a person, however I prefer images with little human interaction (if any) apart from if the person unexpectedly appears or features somewhere in the image. Although the person is still never the main subject.
Below are a selection of images taken on my iPhone. As a viewer, you will never understand just how overly windy it was during the capture of most of these images.
My images would probably look better if I edited them, however at the time of taking and uploading these images I was really against editing them. I think this was because I thought it was cheating, however I have been told since that it is only enhancing the digital version of reality, making the images more like how we see them in real life.
